Located in the older, hidden part of Jalan Bukit Bintang - connecting Sungei Wang and Jalan Alor, an urban renewal exercise is crucial to revive the slowly forgotten stretch. The site includes 5 components: Plaza Low Yat, BB Park, Federal Hotel, Federal Arcade, and Capitol Hotel. In order to revive the current mundane and dated urban fabric, we have borrowed the following principles :

Thus, Low Yat Urban Renewal serves as a re-intervention program in rekindling the liveliness of the city lifestyle, by infusing modernity and contemporary culture programs while returning back these spaces of the city to the people.
